Dec 26th Members Only. We don’t designate a leader for this climb as the number of people on the mountain would make it impossible to marshal. Members can make their own arrangements for the climb.

Our walks are not graded. Everyone does the same walk therefore a good level of fitness is required. On the day the walk leader can refuse to take someone who is not properly equipped or whom they consider to be not fit enough. The leader also decides on the route to be taken and has the authority to decide to cancel, postpone, shorten or reroute if the conditions demand it. They may also decide to move the walk to the Saturday if they feel the weather will be more favourable.

Members are required to bring adequate gear to meet the adverse weather conditions and any emergencies that can occur in the mountain environment. The following is a list of recommended gear: - Suitable boots, raingear, maps, compass, whistle, torch, suitable clothing for the conditions (No Denims), gloves, hat, enough food and drink for the day and lastly a suitable rucksack with waterproof liner. NB No Dogs.  ATTENTION: Walks leaders and wall managers; please make alternative arrangements if unable to attend.

Our club Christmas party will be held in Dingle on Saturday 7th December starting off with a walk (TBC) & food in James Long Bar & Restaurant at 7pm.
